ROI ET -- An official who oversees local administration organisations in At Samat district has been transferred to temporary duty at the provincial office, pending an investigation into an allegation he had a drinking session in his office during working hours, according to media reports. Provincial governor Sarit Withoon said on Wednesday that he had ordered the chief of the provincial local administrations office to transfer Paiboon Songchan, chief of the At Samat local administrations office, to work at the city hall from Thursday. On Wednesday, Mr Chaiyot posted four video clips on his Facebook page. The governor said he wanted the investigation committee to find out whether the allegation was true because drinking alcohol during working hours is a breach of discipline. If the allegation was found to have grounds, the official would be subject to disciplinary action.
